The wine shows a well structured palate of dark berries, some Merlot
spice, and chocolate. Fully ripe yet fine-grained tannins run through
the palate providing wonderful structure and texture, and lead to a long, lingering
aftertaste of great balance and power. Intense aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry,
mocha and chocolate intertwine with regional earthiness. Attractive colour showing
deep, brick red with dark purple hues.
